pickaxes

Hello everyone!

Today I implemented 6 pickaxes - one for each primary ore.

Stone Pickaxe T1
Copper Pickaxe
Gold Pickaxe
Iron Pickaxe
Gammite Pickaxe
Atherium Pickaxe T6


These pickaxes have all been implemented into the game. They all modify the solidity of blocks. I plan to make a video on it, so keep your eyes open!

Hello everyone!

I have recently been creating awesome tracks for the game with a tool called Jukedeck. You can Google it for more information on it. I'm also emailing several composers that seem like they produce music that would fit the game.

To me, music is a very important aspect of the game - it provides an atmosphere and puts emotion into what the player is doing.

I hope you will all enjoy a preview of one of the new Crevis tracks tomorrow!

New sprites & underground work

Hello everyone!

There are so many sprites that are left that need to be translated into the new art style and resolution. I spent most of my time working on the sprites. 

I have also been working more on the Underground, and, more specifically, the teleportation masks within the Underground.

The Underground has 4 teleportation masks in it - left mask, right mask, up mask, and down mask. Each of these masks transports the player to the appropriate area - the up mask returns the player to the surface, and the down mask progresses the player further into the ground.

I've been working on the intelligence of these teleportations - tracking areas that are safe to place the player. That's all from me today.
