Hello everyone!

I have finished Content Wave #1 one day in advance: Here's what's new:
  • Cloth
  • Plant fiber
  • Bamboo
  • Coal dust
  • Generated fiber vines
  • Rocks
  • String
  • Onyx
  • Bandages
  • Rubber
  • Heavy rocks
Most of the items here are crafting components, but some randomly generate, like bamboo or fiber vines.
I'm now going to start on the next content wave.

Until next time!

Combining the elements

Hello everyone!

I spent most of my day today combining the elements that I've been working on:
  • The physical rocket that blasts off into the sky
  • The shipworld
  • The HUD
All of these elements have now been combined to form a smooth experience from launch to orbit.

I also created the rocket's crash animation, as well as the explosion that the crash creates. Once the rocket is out of fuel, it drops out of the sky at a speed of 50 blocks per second, and hits the ground with an explosion so large that it explodes through the entire dirt layer (8-10 blocks deep).

Until next time!

Shipworld

Hello everyone!

Sorry about not posting yesterday, this is actually the post intended for yesterday.

Yesterday, I created a world for the ship - you can float around in it, access the fuel hatch as well as the ship HUD. There's also a window for you to see the black nothingness of space.

I also added a 'Launch' button the the HUD for travelling to other planets, patched some bugs within the HUD, and improved the look of the HUD.

Until later today!
