Hello everyone! I wanted to start this post off with a nice picture of shaders, but they weren't complete yet! Next post for sure!
So, what am I working on now? I'm currently working on making the two games Crevis and Nesus work together in the code, as they are in the same environment. The games are fully merged at this point.
Imagine cutting 2 different houses in half, and smashing 2 different house halves together. The walls, the flooring, and the rooms would have to be adjusted and modified so that the house can function properly. That's currently what I'm doing now; adjusting and modifying the two games so that they work together.
I've also been working on another thing... map kits!
What are map kits?
Map kits are free, downloadable files that can be opened in the free version of GameMaker: Studio. The map kits will come with the tilesets, blocks, and backgrounds needed to create a map for Crevis. The map kit can then be sent back to myself, where I can implement them into the game.
Map kits will require the free version of GameMaker: Studio (Standard).
February's task is to improve the combat system and create a system for enemies and their AI.
